We live in an era where there is a constant battle for the souls of our young people, and it has become a burden on our hearts at R.L.I.C to see them avidly serving the Lord. We will not sit idly by and allow the youths to become another statistic to drug abuse, gambling, gangs etc.
The Youth Ministries Department endeavors to eradicate this with the aid of well balanced programs and activities. Our aim is to mold sophisticated, talented and God fearing young people who will go into the world and proclaim the name of Christ unequivocally.
Our youths are encouraged to advance to greatness spiritually, socially, academically and in every other aspect of their life. This Department’s job is to mentor trend setters since the Bible proclaims “The Lord will make you the head, not the tail…” Deuteronomy 28:13.
The Y.M members perfect their talents/ministries by participating in an annual national competition in dance, drama, song, Bible quiz and poetry. (Youth Ministries Conference)
Socialization is important to molding individuals and as such, we attend Camp meetings annually; Youth Conclave and Asa.
When all of our aims are fulfilled, the Department will populate Guyana and the world with mighty young men and women of God.
Youth Ministries is held every Sunday at 4:30pm (16:30hrs), all youths between the ages of 13 to 35 are invited.
